वैसे तो मां दुर्गा की हर पूजा लाभकारी फल देने वाली हैं। लेकिन मां दुर्गा के कुछ ऐसे मंत्र भी हैं जिनके जाप से हर तरह की बाधा से छुटकारा पाया जा सकता है।
मां दुर्गा का बीज मंत्र इस प्रकार है – “ॐ ह्रीं दुं दुर्गायै नम:” मान्यता है कि यदि आप पूरे मन से मां दुर्गा को याद कर मंत्र का जाप करते है तो जल्द ही आपकी इच्छा पूरी हो जाएगी। शास्त्रों के अनुसार चाहे पृथ्वी लोक हो या कोई भी अन्य लोक, हर पापी मां दुर्गा के नाम से डरता है। अगर आपकी कोई इच्छा पूरी नहीं हो रही है तो आपको मां दुर्गा के बीज मंत्र “ॐ ह्रीं दुं दुर्गायै नम:” का जाप करना चाहिए। इस मंत्र का जप कम से कम हर दिन एक माला करें। आप चाहे तो इससे ज्यादा भी कर सकते हैं। इसे करने के लिए शुक्रवार का दिन सबसे अच्छा माना गया है। लाल फूल व प्रसाद चढ़ाकर स्फटिक की माला से दुर्गा मंत्र बोलें। मंत्र का जाप स्फटिक की माला से किया जाए। याद रखें कि एक बार जब आप 108 जाप से शुरू करते हैं तो दैनिक 108 न्यूनतम करें, जाप की संख्या कम न करें।
यह मंत्र माँ का प्रिय मंत्र है और माँ के जागरण, पूजा आदि में इसका प्रयोग आवश्यक माना जाता है। दुर्गा सप्तशती के पाठ से पहले इस मंत्र को जपने, सुनने व दोहराने से माँ आपको बुद्धि और समृद्धि प्रदान करेंगी।
.मां दुर्गा का ये बीज मंत्र बहुत प्रभावशाली है। इससे धन लाभ, कर्ज से छुटकारा, रोगों से मुक्ति और निर्धनता दूर होगी। इस मंत्र के जप के लिए स्फटिक की माला बेहतर रहती है।
जिन लोगों के जीवन में संतान सुख नहीं है वे माँ के इस मंत्र का जाप कर सकते हैं। जप से पहले यदि वे मां दुर्गा को एक पानी वाला नारियल चढ़ाएं और संकल्प लें तो उनकी मनोकामना जल्द ही पूरी होगी।
अगर आप चाहें तो इस मंत्र का जाप किसी भी दिन कर सकते हैं, लेकिन यदि इसकी शुरुआत शुक्रवार से की जाए तो इसका फल दोगुना मिलता है।
मंत्र के जाप से पहले माँ दुर्गा के आगे देसी घी का दीप जलाएं और लाल फूल चढ़ाएं। यदि संभव हो तो कोई मिष्ठान भी अर्पित करें। ध्यान रहें कि इस मंत्र का जाप स्फटिक की माला से किया जाए।
दुर्गा जी के बीज मंत्र को दुर्गा अष्टाक्षर मन्त्र के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। ये बहुत ही सिद्ध मंत्र है। इसके जप से व्यक्ति के जीवन में आ रही सारी कठिनाइयां दूर हो जाती हैं। इससे जातक की रक्षा भी होती है।
मंत्र का जाप करते समय आपको कच्ची जमीन, लकड़ी की चौकी या फिर सूती चटाई के आसन पर बैठना अच्छा होता है। क्योंकि शास्त्रों में इन्हें शुद्ध माना गया है। नियमपूर्वक जप करने से फल जल्दी मिलता है।
इस मंत्र का जाप करते समय अपना मुख पूर्व या उत्तर दिशा की ओर रखें। वहीं अगर आप रात के समय इस मंत्र को पढ़ रहें हैं तो मुख केवल उत्तर दिशा में ही रखें।
इस मंत्र का प्रभाव तब ज्यादा होता है जब इसे किसी एकांत स्थान पर व मंदिर में बैठकर पढ़ा जाए। इस मंत्र का जाप करते समय अपने सिर को कपड़े से ढकें और हो सके तो माला जपते समय ध्यान रखें कि कोई आपको देखे नहीं। मंत्र का जाप स्फटिक की माला से किया जाए।

IMPORTANT: One should worship one’s Ishta Devta/Devi to attain final salvation. Worship of Ishta Devta is to be done daily, with appropriate mantras and allied rituals. The important thing is to be selfless while worshiping to the Ishta Devta. One should not ask for anything while worshiping, rather one should offer oneself completely in Ishta Devta’s holy feet.
